Psalm 56: In God I Trust

Psalm 56 is a powerful declaration of trust in God during fear and attack. David wrote it when the Philistines seized him in Gath. Despite being hunted, misunderstood, and afraid, he boldly says:

“When I am afraid, I put my trust in You.” — v.3

“In God I trust and am not afraid. What can man do to me?” — v.11

“You have kept count of my tossing; put my tears in Your bottle.” — v.8

This psalm makes for a deeply personal and encouraging worship song.
